WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT MY ARTWORK

I often get asked about the inspiration behind my artwork, and I love sharing the journey. I love the natural free spirit of a flower & how it is in nature, their ability to thrive anywhere, under any circumstances, while exuding exquisite beauty. In my paintings, I aim to convey the essence of growth and freedom that they symbolize. My hope is that viewers of my art feel this freedom.

As I create my floral paintings, I draw inspiration from the various stages of a flower’s growth transformation. From the vivid and fresh hues during blossoming to the gradual shift toward deep & rich colors as they gracefully fade. Using acrylic paint as my preferred medium, I layer colors and apply spontaneous brushstrokes to capture the essence of these beautiful moments.

My passion for the creative arts has been with me since childhood, and it continues to fuel my artistic journey. I am a proud native of Texas. I am married to my best friend Jon, and we have two wonderful kids and a grandchild.
