Growing up in The Woodlands area, I am a proud Texan. I find joy in expressing the beauty of nature and creation through my abstract impressionist floral art. My hope is that each brushstroke brings vibrant life to every environment. I’m happily married to my best friend, Jon, and together, we share a beautiful life with our two amazing children and a cherished granddaughter.
My love for creative arts sparked at the age of 4 and has stayed strong throughout my life. Though my career initially led me into retail management corporate world, creativity remained a constant, with occasional commissioned paintings keeping my passion alive. Then, in 2019, a deep inner calling urged me toward change. A transformative journey of growth, healing, and self-discovery led me to fully embrace my true path as an Artist. In these past years, I’ve rekindled my love for painting, finding joy in turning blank white canvases into blossoming floral masterpieces.
I’ve had the honor of working on diverse painting projects for clients, ranging from home decor to special occasion gifts. Witnessing clients’ faces light up as they receive their paintings brings me immense joy. I am truly grateful to pursue my passion.
Why do I paint Flowers? I love the natural free spirit of a flower & how it is in nature, their ability to thrive anywhere, under any circumstances, while exuding exquisite beauty. In my paintings, I aim to convey the essence of growth and freedom that they symbolize. My hope is that viewers of my art feel this freedom.
As I create my floral paintings, I draw inspiration from the various stages of a flower’s growth transformation. From the vivid and fresh hues during blossoming to the gradual shift toward deep & rich colors as they gracefully fade. Using acrylic paint as my preferred medium, I layer colors and apply spontaneous brushstrokes to capture the essence of these beautiful moments.
